Ubisoft has confirmed in a recent social media post that Assassin's Creed Shadows will bring back the recruitment summoning mechanic from Brotherhood, although we don't yet know how deep the mechanic is going to be.

Over on Twitter, the official Assassin's Creed account shared an image of Naoe summoning recruits from the Creed to help her out in battle.

This isn't the first time that Ubisoft has acknowledged that the recruit system is returning, but it does seem to be new information for a lot of players.
